From mid-November last year until the end of March this year, the 'Angels of Ihtiman' have cooked meals and gone out into the village with hot soup and bread to feed families and those living on their own. The Angels, who belong to the local Roma church have received funds for this ministry through donations to Harvest for the Hungry.
In partnership with our partners, Mission Possible Bulgaria, the church set up a soup kitchen and went out to provide food. In total, 1,200 meals have been served.
Roumen Ivanov of MPB told us, 'The activity of the church and the work of the soup kitchen is actively sharing the Good News with these people. They use the opportunity to share their faith with the people in their homes, encouraging them and praying to God for their needs and inviting them to come to church. Often, they sing and evangelise as they carry the big vat of soup through the streets.'

Harvest for the Hungry serves the practical need of providing food. But it is also kingdom-building work as it opens doors for the Good News of Jesus Christ to be shared.
Watch our latest Harvest for the Hungry film as Arton shares about how BPZ Church (Fellowship of the Lord's People) use funds to bring hope. Feel free to share this video with your church family too!

Thank you to everyone who is supporting Harvest for the Hungry, whether through individual financial gifts or as part of your church family. We are so grateful.
Here are some photos from Pastor Tefik Musoski of Bair Bitola Evangelical Church in North Macedonia after they received a grant last year, which was made possible because of donations to Harvest for the Hungry.
Harvest for the Hungry helps to meet real needs, but it also builds relationships between our Christian partners and the people they serve in Jesus Christ's name. This is Kingdom-building work.
