TENteach provides opportunities to students in Eastern Europe and the Balkans to learn English online and in doing so, improve their job prospects and earning potential.
In 2019, after a short-term voluntary placement with a partner church in Moldova, Nick Clarke (TENteach Co-ordinator and teacher) saw an opportunity to provide online English lessons through Christian TEFL and approached TEN with the idea. Since September 2021, we have held TENteach classes and we would love to see this initiative grow, with more students joining our free online classes and more volunteers joining the TENteach team.
TENteach is a Biblically based course taught by a dedicated team of volunteers. Currently, there are five language levels, from Beginners to Upper Intermediate. TENteach also provides opportunities for volunteers to share their Christian faith.
To become a TENteach teacher you do not need a previous English teaching qualification but you may find it useful to complete an online TEFL course.
