Anatol and Nadea Dunas
Anatol Dunas is the Pastor of Emanuel Evangelical Baptist Church in Cahul.
He has a big vision for reaching people who do not know Christ from the children and teens to older men and women. This is working well, and they hold baptismal services on a regular basis for new believers.
The church has a Bible School where they equip leaders for ministry and runs English Classes. Hundreds of students have benefited from English lessons.
There is a site near to Cahul, where since 2014 the church has been building camp facilities including a worship area, prayer huts, restaurant, dormitories and two family-size homes for orphan children to be cared for by foster parents. During the summer hundreds of children attend the site for Vacation Bible School (VBS) to have a holiday and encounter God through worship, prayer, bible teaching, as well as games and fun activities.
The church has started a church plant in the village of Larga. Anatol has had an opportunity to teach in the state schools about how the students have great potential and life has a purpose.
