Anita Dimitrievska

Anita comes from a nominal Orthodox background and God led her on a spiritual journey of discovery in her early years.

Anita Dimitrievska

At age 10 she saw the Jesus of Nazareth film on television and went from crying as she watched the crucifixion thinking, “Why are they doing that to Jesus?” to a sense of peace and joy.

After coming to faith in Jesus, she became very zealous in seeking the truth and as a teenager read the New Testament, listened to Christian music and spoke often with a Christian missionary in Kumanovo.

She started serving at her local Evangelical Church working with the Royal Rangers. In the early 2000’s she was part of a YWAM team based in Kratovo which set up a mission church, and ran a youth centre, youth events, sports and crafts.

In 2019, Anita moved to Ohrid to become the assistant pastor of the Evangelical Church. She engaged in preaching, part of the worship team, leading a women’s group and for a while had a morning and evening devotional slot on the local radio station. She was ordained as the senior pastor in June 2024 and is focused on discipleship for the members and reaching out to new people. She runs an Alpha course, helps with handmade craft workshops for children with special needs, runs an artistic evening each month and has recently started working with students.
