Dusan Beredi (aka Bera), has been the leading pastor of Protestant Christian Fellowship Novi Sad since January 2013, when Daniel and Vera Kuranji ‘passed the baton’ to him.

Dusan came to Christ when he was 20 and was healed from alcoholism.

Protestant Christian Fellowship Novi Sad is a church that seeks to be relevant to the local community and to respond to needs of people in Serbia. The church used to work with war refugees, but now other ministries have been developed, such as Rainbow Rehabilitation Centre for recovering addicts, Christian Scouts (Royal Rangers), Hand for a Friend (a programme to help the homeless in Novi Sad). The goal is to help people in need, but also to point people to Jesus Christ.

Bera, and his wife Mirjana, who have two children, were the national co-ordinators for the Alpha course in Serbia for many years. He was a national leader for many years for the Christian Scouts ministry – the Royal Rangers. In the past few years, Bera has become more involved in environmental activism. Most recently he has taken on more responsibility for Rainbow Rehabilitation Centre, which is now part of Teen Challenge.
