As a newlywed couple from 2011 to 2014, they attended three-years of Bible school at the International School of Theology and Leadership (ISTL), in Tirana, Albania.
They were part of a prayer and intercession team with whom they ministered at seminars in churches all over Albania. In their own words, “Living among Albanians for three years, we knew that Albanians would continue to stay a vital part of our lives even after we returned to Macedonia. So, it was surprise to us that God led us to move to Struga, in the south-western region of North Macedonia, mainly populated with Albanians who are 99.9% Muslims.”
In November 2014 they moved to Struga, and a pioneering, church planting process was started. By God’s grace and provision a few years later, they secured a church property in the town centre. Emil was officially ordained as the pastor of Evangelical Church Struga in November 2021.
Emil and Vesna, “Our heart’s desire is to … bring hope to the hopeless, a sense of purpose and a way out of the monotony of their existence. We believe that God has many great things in store for our church, for this town and the entire region.”
