North Macedonia

Katerina Koleva, SEAM

“Since I was a child I always found it very interesting to study the Bible alone and with my friends. I would gather with my friends, and we would read from old, damaged New Testaments.”

Katerina Koleva, SEAM

“When I went to study at university I came across SEAM (Student Evangelical Association of Macedonia) that was gathering students from different kinds of backgrounds for reading and discussing the Bible. At that time the love and fire for diving deep in the Scripture reminded me for what I used to do as a child and very soon I became one of the most active students. I have been involved in the student work on staff since 2017.

“Now I am leading SEAM as General Secretary. The main focus is reaching out to students through different events such as: Christmas and Easter evangelistic programmes, visiting student dormitory and connecting with the students while sharing free coffee and conversations, street evangelism at the campus, libraries and parks, personal evangelism done by the students who are part of SEAM and creating an online platform such as podcasts and videos relevant for students. I am also mentoring a few students, and part of PFE (Passion for Evangelism) network which equips and trains young women for evangelism.”

Katerina is married to Mihail (a.k.a. Mile), who heads up Royal Rangers in North Macedonia. They have two young children. They are part of the leadership of Shtip Evangelical Church.
