Many people in Eastern Europe and the Balkans endure bitterly cold winters.
“When I was cold you gave me fuel, new shoes and a blanket to keep warm.” “But when?” the righteous reply. “When you did it for the least, you did it for me.” This is not from the Bible, but it could be in the list of actions of the righteous, in Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:31-40.
WinterHelp enables you and me to warm the cold. Last year your support meant a family in Romania got a new stove. Families in North Macedonia had their electricity bill paid. Roma children received new coats in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Albania, a new stove changed a family’s life; Adelina said that her son had spent the whole afternoon telling others that the reason they now had a stove and could be warm was because he had prayed to Jesus. “Now we can even celebrate the New Year without being cold,” he had said. WinterHelp made a difference.
How is TEN involved?
Donations to TEN’s WinterHelp appeal enable our partners to buy fuel, winter clothes, and other provisions to to help those in need during the winter months. Funds go directly to partners. They know their communities, so you can be sure your support is meeting the needs of people such as a struggling family, a cold child, or a homeless person.
