Robert and Krasi Salamanovi
Robert Salamanov is the pastor of the new church plant in Radovish.
After getting saved, Robert, a former drug addict joined his local church in Shtip and faithfully served helping with the regular outreach in the nearby town of Sveti Nikole. He took a special interest in reaching the town of Radovish, 30km further south, and did some pastoral training with the Bible League.
For eighteen months, Robert travelled each week from Shtip to Radovish to pray and reach out to the community through facilities made available at the local library. In 2020, Robert was sent out with his wife and son to start the church. After finding a suitable building the Evangelical Church Radovish was officially opened in March 2021.
Buchim Mine, the only active mine in the country is close to Radovish. Robert is building contacts with the miners and their families to share the good news of Jesus, the One who sets people free from addictions (often an issue among miners).
As well as regular services, visitors to the church can enjoy a coffee or game of ping pong and the children love the weekly craft hour making decoupage.
