Camp baptisms in Croatia

Greetings from Good News Church in Split, Croatia. As bad as this Covid-19 virus is, God is always working for the best for those who love Him. Before the start of the coronavirus outbreak in February we had decided to have water baptisms for two new believers on the first Sunday in May.

As a result of the government restrictions on movement and assembly, we were in a lockdown situation from late March. We were unable to hold the baptismal service as planned and moved it into June.

On 3rd May, we were finally able to meet as a church with our seating arranged to meet the social distancing requirements.  After the service, a young man called Jakov, came to me and said that he was now ready to get baptized. God had clearly been working in his heart while being in lockdown. Jakov joined three other believers for baptism at the church camp held in June.

God is always at work and I thank Him. Thank you for your prayers and all your help.
