Valeriu and Angela Munteanu
Valeriu Munteanu is married to Angela, and they have two boys. He leads the Baptist Church in Tigheci, which meets in his home.
As they do not have a church building, Valeriu and the believers seem to experience more opposition from the Orthodox Church (any Christian church which is not Orthodox is labelled as a cult).
Valeriu has a heart for reaching the young people in his area and leads the youth work and Sunday Bible study. In the summer he ensures the young people attend local Christian camps. He works to help fund himself and sometimes has interesting spiritual conversations with his co-workers.
When possible, the believers share food parcels with the socially vulnerable and poor families in the village as a practical demonstration of God’s love.
