Midweek meeting in Bitola with Josip and Biljana
Four of us finally managed to get there this autumn and had a wonderful time experiencing their generous hospitality and enjoying the amazing scenery of mountains and beautiful Lake Ohrid.
We also visited the Bitola Roma Church, Dragan and Biljana in Resen and Anita Dimitrievska in Ohrid. It was challenging to hear first-hand how hard it is to plant and grow churches in that region and they are such faithful and wonderful followers of Christ.
Everything is getting more expensive and they are not sure that they will be able to heat the church.
We spent a lot of time talking and praying with Josip and Biljana. They have had a difficult time with illness and leading the church through Covid and it was good to be able to encourage them. Some of their members have not returned since lockdown ended and they are not a large church anyway. Josip and Biljana are worried about getting through the winter. Everything is getting more expensive and they are not sure that they will be able to heat the church. While we were there we painted the outside of the church and it now looks very smart!
We are looking forward to growing our partnership with these wonderful people and expecting to see God do great things in North Macedonia through them.
